  • What days / times of the week do you run?

Monday through Friday during the morning hours, and also a few days in the late afternoon / early evening. I don’t run dogs during the heat of the day.

  • Do you offer an initial meet and greet?

    Yes. Any solid relationship begins with trust. I want you to get to know me in person and ask as many questions as you would like. With your OK, I will take your dog(s) on a 15 minute run during the initial meeting. This is an ideal time for your pet to get to know me and begin to trust me. Additionally, this first run allows me to assess your dog’s fitness level.

  • Do you run any dog, regardless of temperament / fitness level?

    The most important qualification is that your dog is not aggressive towards humans and other animals. That’s number one. Regarding fitness level, it’s important that your dog be able to sustain an easy jogging pace throughout the session. This is because after 2 “get to know each other” solo runs with your pooch, I will be pairing up your dog with another, who already loves to jog. Keep in mind that walk/rest breaks are given.

  • I'm concerned about the heat. Will you give my dog short rest breaks?

    I allow dogs to take as many breaks as needed

  • What's your availability right now?

    Limited. Please send me an email at pomai@poochfit.com, or call me at 442-2076. Let me know the days of the week you are interested in. Before our consultation I can let you know the availability I have in my schedule.

  • Do I have to commit to a certain length of time with Pooch Fit?

    No. You can choose to have me come over just once a week if that’s what you prefer. Or, you could hire me to exercise your dog(s) multiple times a week. (Upon availability)

  • How many dogs do you run with at one time?

    Four is the maximum number of dogs I will run with at one time.
